OFFICE FIT OUT NORWICH

Building better workspaces since 2002

Expert office fit outs designed around your business

Every business operates differently, which is why we build our fit outs around your team, not a template. With employed site foremen and carpenters based in NR13 6JY, we deliver end-to-end office projects across Norwich. From city centre locations and Thorpe Road to Riverside, Broadland Business Park and Norwich Research Park. Whether you need acoustic zoning, integrated furniture, performance lighting or flexible layouts, we handle the full scope from first site visit to final handover.

Our Process

Preparation

After design approval, your project manager develops a detailed programme and assigns your site foreman. We coordinate all access, permissions and logistics with landlords, building managers and third-party suppliers before the first delivery arrives on site.

Interior Fit Out

Our team completes all structural work, partitioning, electrical and mechanical installations to prepare the foundation. Next comes flooring, ceilings, lighting, furniture and bespoke joinery. Every element installed to match the approved specification.

Final Touches & Handover

Quality checks, snagging, final clean, then a full walkthrough with your project manager to confirm everything works as intended. You'll receive all certifications, O&M documentation and as-built information before we hand over the keys.

Why choose Bluespace?

The quality of the finished office matters, but so does how you get there. We keep projects on track with dual oversight. An experienced project manager handling programme and budget, plus a full-time site foreman managing day-to-day works.
That means fewer delays, clearer communication and tighter control from start to finish. Regular site meetings keep you informed at every stage, and you’ll always have direct access to the people running your project.
Every contractor we use is accredited and experienced, and all work complies with current building regulations, fire safety codes and accessibility standards.
Whether it’s HVAC, joinery, lighting or flooring, the detail work is what separates a functional office from one that actually performs. You’re not hiring a contractor. You’re working with a local partner who’s been doing this since 2002.

"We’re really pleased with the way the office has been upgraded by Bluespace. Jonathon and the team were meticulous in their attention to detail and the end result shows the difference between what it takes to create a good office space and a great office space. It’s clear to see how this new office has positively affected everyone working and visiting Carrow Road."

Creative Office Design Ideas

Fit Your Brand

Your workspace should reflect who you are, not just what you do. We integrate brand colours, materials, graphics and wayfinding into the fabric of the fit out. From reception feature walls to meeting room finishes.

Furniture Solutions

The right furniture transforms how a space functions. We plan desk layouts, storage, collaboration zones and breakout areas around how your team actually works.

Lighting Design

Lighting affects concentration, comfort and atmosphere. We design schemes that reduce glare, support different tasks and complement the architecture. Using a mix of ambient, task and accent lighting to create balance across the workspace.

Power & Data

Modern offices demand reliable connectivity. Our electrical team installs power, data, WiFi infrastructure and AV cabling to support current needs and future growth. By the time you move in, every desk, meeting room and breakout space will have the connections it needs.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQS)

Cost varies with scope, building condition, specification and furniture selection. A straightforward shell fit out with standard finishes costs less than a design-led scheme with bespoke joinery, upgraded M&E and premium furniture. The most reliable way to understand cost for your project is to arrange a site visit so we can assess the space, discuss your brief and provide a detailed proposal.
Timescales depend on project size, complexity, landlord approvals and whether you’re staying in occupation during works. Smaller schemes can complete in 4–6 weeks; larger, more technical fit outs may run 3–6 months from approval to handover. We develop a programme during preparation and provide regular updates as the project progresses.
A typical fit out covers everything needed to convert an empty or outdated interior into a functioning workplace. That includes strip-out (if required), partitioning, glazing, M&E works, flooring, ceilings, decoration, lighting, furniture, joinery, plus snagging and final clean. We provide an integrated service covering design, construction, furniture procurement and handover. One point of contact from concept through to completion.
Yes. We offer both design and delivery. Projects begin with a consultation to understand your requirements, followed by space planning, concept visuals, material selections and 3D renders. Once the design is approved, the same team manages the build, ensuring what you see in the renders is what gets delivered on site.
We deliver projects across Norwich and the surrounding area. The city centre, Thorpe Road, Riverside, Rackheath, Broadland Business Park, Norwich Research Park and wider Norfolk. Being based locally means we can respond quickly, attend site meetings in person and provide ongoing support after handover.
We’ve been fitting out Norwich offices since 2002, which means we understand local buildings, planning constraints and the practical realities of working in occupied city centre properties. Every project is managed by a dedicated PM and site foreman, giving you consistent contact and accountability. We employ our own carpenters and use trusted local subcontractors, keeping quality and programme control in-house. The result is a smoother process, fewer surprises and a finished workspace that works as hard as your team does.
