Bluespace were proud to support the annual Football Against Dementia charity match held at Carrow Road on Sunday 25th September. In memory of former Norwich United manager Paul Chick, the match saw Ken Brown Legends take on Paul Chick All Stars.

Bringing the Milk Cup Home!

On the way to Carrow Road, special guests travelled in an open-top bus to showcase the famous Milk Cup trophy that claimed victory over Sunderland 36 years ago. Owned and preserved by 2383 Preservation Group, we were honoured to have our name on the bus with signage completed by CIM Signs & Graphics. Gathering legends of Norwich City for a memorable day of reunions with the likes of Ruel Fox, Chris Sutton, Grant Holt and Robert Fleck.

Before the match commenced, it was only right that longest-serving City manager Ken Brown and ex-captain Dave Watson took centre stage on the pitch to display the famous Milk Cup trophy. Reigniting a victorious memory amongst many in attendance.

It was an enthralling match with no shortage of goals, resulting in a 4-3 win to Ken Brown Legends. A victory for Dave Watson who lifted the trophy to end such a momentous day.

Football Against Dementia charity was founded to support and help all people affected by dementia. Sharing a personal experience with the neurodegenerative disease, the project creators aim to highlight and provide practical advice in order to raise awareness of this important cause.
