Welcoming Atmosphere
Comfort is key and NCFC wanted to emulate a cosy pub atmosphere. To achieve this we set the tone with a darker palette, including dark stained timber features, dark wall tiles and decorations. The ceiling was also spray painted black and stripped to create an exposed industrial look with an element of warmth brought in from the suspended copper pendant lights.
Serve Yourself
Reinventing the pub experience, NCFC were keen to introduce a self-service bar. To do this, we integrated two tap walls kitted out with payment terminals and touch screens so you can choose your preferred beer. Not only does this speed up the ordering time, but you can even pour your own pint!
Increasing Space
The existing bar had very limited space for staff and it was clear that the layout needed adjusting. To streamline the pub experience, we increased the size of the bar along with making sure there is enough space between tables. It was important to strike the balance between creating a cosy feeling but allowing enough space so staff can move around with ease. We also introduced two new glazed entrances off the street to enable better access for the public.
Celebrating NCFC’S History
In celebration of the club’s heritage, we installed an art mural along the back wall of the pub. The mural was created by artist and fan Dave Nash, showcasing the legendary NCFC goals that will live on in history. And if that’s not enough, there is also a large TV video wall where supporters can watch live matches and witness history in the making.
