“We’re delighted with our new office that Bluespace has created and the team was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. The whole project went smoothly even through a national lockdown. We’re excited to use our new space!” –

Managing Director – Matthew Lambert

RPA approached Bluespace to assist in their relocation to a new office space in The Atrium on St.Georges Street in Norwich City Centre. We were asked to provide a bright, colourful and open office space which supports comfort and productivity.

With the balance between comfort and work being a key point to factor in, we included acoustic hanging screens to help break up the space, creating a division between the office and break-out space. The acoustic hanging screens also functioned as a way to reduce noise, enabling those in the office space to continue to work uninterrupted.

In addition to this, we felt that it was important to source antimicrobial upholstery for all the soft seating to help maintain an easily cleanable workplace post lock down, thus emphasising the importance of the staff’s well being by providing a safe space to work within.

The arched windows are a unique and striking feature, allowing lots of natural light into the office, which is proven to boost both morale and productivity. The high bench with integrated power sources is intended to be used as a ‘touch-down’ table for laptop working.

The addition of high back sofas were an integral part of the design, allowing informal meetings to take place, or simply for staff to focus on their individual tasks. The high backs provide necessary support to allow for comfortable use, even for extended periods of time.

We provided bespoke storage wall dividers, these were to be designated to the different teams to allow for greater efficiency, but also made room for the introduction of plants within the office. Plants are a great and stylish way to encourage well-being within the workspace.

The result is a bright, colourful open office space which is light and modern. Each feature contributes to the aim of an agile workplace which supports well-being and productivity.
