We’ve recently designed a new reception and welcome area for the Fred Nicholson School in Dereham.

Fred Nicholson work extremely hard to meet the needs of, and educate 141 children who have learning difficulties and a range of associated complex needs and we were delighted to help them bring their building to life.

Our designers worked closely with Fred Nicholson to design a waiting room and entrance area that reflects the passion that the staff bring every day to their job. By creating an open plan design and using bold colours such as red and turquoise, we created a welcoming, fun environment that would enthuse both the children and the hard-working team. We chose carefully to provide both communal seating and areas of privacy within the school’s waiting room, by using round seating and furnishings with high backs.
