MINT’s relocation to The Forum

After completing the ground floor office last year, MINT decided to relocate their training suite facility from Millennium Plain into the main Forum building. They came to Bluespace to help design, fit-out and furnish their new space.

The new first floor Bluespace design mirrors the key design aspects used in the ground floor unit without losing the elements that make MINT part of The Forum. A frosted manifestation including a bold City College logo were added on the glazed front to the unit to add privacy as well as tying the new unit into those around it.

The vibrant green used downstairs was reflected, again on the back wall of the unit and also in the decorative plant pots used. The pink accents were also added in the form of carpet patterns. New workstations and operator chairs were added along with furniture brought over from their previous location. A smaller area was created with partitioning and a bespoke benching system for 3 extra workstations. Stand-alone storage units were also used.

A meeting and tea making area were created from the small back room by adding vibrant tiling and modern new kitchen finishes along with brightly patterned and upholstered Giggle chairs from OCee Design.
