Norwich City Football Club – Dining Facility

The brief was a space which was welcoming and provided comfort to the first team, whilst still maintaining an updated and sleek design. The space needed a modern and relaxing atmosphere in which the players could enjoy a well-earned meal.

The overall aesthetic is a dramatic one, with over-sized drum pendant lights immediately creating a striking impression. The acoustic hanging rafts help control noise levels, allowing room for a more intimate setting so the players are able to converse with one another without the need to shout.

The feature timber slat wall breaks up the space, ensuring that the overall space isn’t too overwhelming. Alongside this is the washed oak herringbone flooring, which allows for some warmth and texture within the space.

The bespoke banquette seating provided some much needed comfort to the area, allowing the players to sit with their fellow teammates whilst enjoying a meal. Nearby the large drinks station can be found, which features a subway style tiled splashback and integrated pendant lights to allow for some light to flow into the space.

The outcome is a comfortable and welcoming dining space with a ‘restaurant feel’ that allows for an intimate setting in which the players will happily enjoy a meal alongside their teammates.
