Bluespace Returns To Norwich City Football Club

We were recently asked to refurbish the offices at the Carrow Road stadium. They were starting to think – as well as play – like a premier league team, so it was time for them to up their game behind the scenes as well!

Their sense of drive and ambition was clear from the start. This refurbishment wasn’t just about sprucing up their existing offices, they were looking for a new environment that would help to bring the team together and energise their collaborative culture.

To bring this vision to life we literally broke down walls to create an open, flowing workspace that had a visual impact but also worked as a practical, productive workspace for their team. We created new breakout areas for informal meetings and chats, and we’ve installed 10 large digital televisions so that a screen can be seen from wherever you are in the office.

For an office refurbishment on this scale, we took a coordinated design approach that encompassed everything from the building work and regulation compliance to the refurbishment, redecoration and furniture supply.

We worked hard to give the space all the little details (and surprises!) that would bring the area to life and we’re delighted with the result. As well as adding club photographs and graphics, we’ve chosen a variety of different textures and finishes on the walls, flooring and bespoke furnishings which really deliver a personal touch to reflect Norwich City F.C.’s vibrant history.

We’re really pleased with the way the office has been upgraded by Bluespace. Jonathon and the team were meticulous in their attention to detail and the end result shows the difference between what it takes to create a good office space and a great office space. It’s clear to see how this new office has positively affected everyone working and visiting Carrow Road.

Our favourite addition is the entrance, which we’ve completely reconfigured. It now includes a lounge area and we’ve added a backlit stainless-steel quote from Delia Smith herself.

For us, the project has given the whole Bluespace team a huge sense of pride as we’ve all loved working for such a prestigious and well-loved club. This office revamp is part of a series of refurbishments that we’ve been carrying out for the club which includes the Team Dressing Rooms, Player’s Lounge as well as the restaurant and offices at Colney Training Centre.
