One gadget that has caught our eye this week is the wireless surface phone charger. This impressive little implement is designed to charge your smartphone wirelessly, just by placing it on top.

The days of scratching your knees on the carpet trying to locate a plug socket, inevitably banging your head on the way back up, and untangling the intricate nest of chargers and wires in your drawers are over. The device easily installs into 80mm desk grommets which you can see in the video link below.
