A new foyer for the conference centre at TWI

The foyer of the Ramsay Moon Conference Centre of The Welding Institute of Granta Park in Cambridge has been jointly refurbished by the Site Services team of TWI and the Bluespace team.

The Welding Institute (TWI), at Granta Park, offers one of the largest training facilities in the country in respect of welding and welding related subjects. Their social facilities have a taken back seat to the quality of their training over the years but Bluespace have gone some way to readdressing this with the installation of a new bar/reception counter, back bar, soft seating and dining furniture together with updated flooring. Budget was limited but the high quality of the products supplied mean items can be updated should long term plans to further improve the facilities come to fruition.

Soft seating from Orangebox and Boss Design were used along with carpet tiles from Milliken. Bluespace’s own joinery team provided a new bar/reception counter.
