A Musical Project

Bluespace have completed the design and refurbishment of the Music Classrooms for Notre Dame High School, right down to guitar hooks, CD Storage and musical signage.

An extensive design was agreed and a dual-phased construction planned to work around the schools programme. Each room was stripped out and new wall linings were installed. A new electrical and data installation took place to allow new music desks with new keyboards and computer systems to be installed.

A distinct challenge to meet the school’s storage requirements was overcome through a comprehensive bespoke joinery scheme which included overhead CD storage, wall-mounted guitar storage and mobile under-desk instrument storage. The workshop was busy…
